FULL MOON PARTY! Our 3rd Wednesday Happy Hour on Tuesday (huh?), August 20, 2013.
We gathered at the Pelican Cafe in Stuart, on the shore of the still-beautiful St. Lucie River, to celebrate the full moon. The Parrot Head count (with guests) was somewhere in the high seventies - a huge success, indeed !!!

Thanks once again to Social Suzi and her Committee for all of their hard work.
Couldn't have done it without the efforts of the setup crew.
The musical entertainment for the evening was the Club's own The Captain and The Kid (Ed DeVries and Doug Johnson). They seemed to pass the audition - among their 40+ songs, they performed two from Jimmy's new album on the day of its release.
We also celebrated two August 20th birthdays - Tom and Sharyn - and a bunch of other August birthdays.
The Hula Hoop contest - what talent ! (?)
The limbo competition was won by Linda - also nice limbo-ing by the wait staff of the Pelican Cafe (pics below).
Jan and John did not win the limbo contest.
It's Conga Time!!!
